Public Schools (Cobb County)

The public schools in Powder Springs are operated by the Cobb County School District (CCSD), which as of spring 2024 was the second-largest school system in Georgia and the 23rd largest in the nation. Powder Springs is proud to have these schools within or just outside of its city limits:

Cobb County Schools is led by a superintendent and an elected seven-member school board that selects the superintendent as part of its duties.
