Service Project
Our inaugural Powder Springs Youth Council took the task of speaking "for and to the youth of Powder Springs" very seriously. After a robust discussion asking, "What are the most important issues facing youth and adolescents in our City?" the council conducted a survey to find out. The results showed that youth primarily voiced concerns about mental health, body image and substance abuse. After diligent research, the 2023-34 Youth Council has compiled a list of resources to assist parents and teens who seek help with these issues. You can access their list below. The Youth Council looks forward to providing even more resources in the future to equip families in our community.
