Volunteer Categories by Interest
- Beautification
- Shred Days — held twice annually, usually on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Pick It Up Powder Springs — Saturdays held periodically
- Keep Powder Springs Beautiful — Want to be a part of the on-going beautification team? KPSB is a non-profit dedicated to maintaining several target areas in our parks and around our city. Meetings are typically held the first Tuesday of each month. Email vrodenbeck@cityofpowdersprings.org for more information about joining is dedicated group of volunteers. Orientation is ongoing with each project and event.
Seasonal Events & Festivals
Many of our events, whether city-wide or led by our valued partnerships here in the City of Powder Springs, simply could not happen without volunteers.
At events and festivals, it is often volunteers who are assisting with vendor and food truck check-in or providing information to visitors at the City Information Tent to visitors.
Keeping our parks and green spaces beautiful and litter free is an volunteer opportunity at every event.
At our larger events, greeters and parking lot attendants are essential to making a positive first impression for guests.
